2.2L I4 Spark,Fuel NO FIRE!
Ok so here's the situation. I have pressure in my fuel lines. Im getting a voltage reading in my injectors while cranking. I checked all cylinders for spark. Everything looks ok as far as I can see. A few months ago I had the SAME EXACT problem. I took the car to a local shop (Seeing there isn't a dealer within a little while from me) and after replacing a few things i could have told them it wasnt they ended up replacing the computer. I got the car back and have been driving it for the past month. I went out after work and nothing. It cranks same symptons still NO CODE! There has to be something I dont see a brand new computer going bad after a month. I know on my V8 I had the same issue. I had a camshaft sensor that didn't throw a code but wouldn't let my engine fire. Could this be a possibility? Any help is much appreciated. Thank You, Carl
The fuel injectors get constant battery voltage with key in RUN or START. The PCM grounds the other side to energize each injector. As for the CMP sensor, the ICM synthesizes and sends the CMP signal to the PCM. So, you stated you are "getting a voltage reading in my injectors while cranking" and "checked all cylinders for spark" but what were your methods?
