2000 blazer with passlock issue

2000 blazer with passlock issue
have a 2000 blazer with 85000 miles recently did some engine work and now the stinking security light stays on contantly don't have the funds to take to a GM garage is there any fixes for this have done the 10 minute one repeatedly but to no avail I need assistance
