2001 Chevy prizm 15a Tail light fuse
Car has an intermittent short on the 15amp fuse under the dash. Goes out randomly. Headlight switch was replaced because it would blow the fuse every single time. Drl module above the glovebox has been terminated. Power to the module has been cut and the daytime running lights no longer run on the car. Still the problem persist.
Is it possible the brake light switch could cause that fuse to blow and still maintain brake lights? Seems a little absurd to me that taillights would go out because of that switch but that circuit remain unaffected?
Currently have the license plate lights and the truck switch discoed to see if eliminating those components would stop shorting out the circuit.
What I really need is a list of components on that circuit. If anyone could lead me in the right direction that would be great. Much appreciated.
