Default 2005 camshaft code troubleshooting

I have a 2005 Chevy Colorado, a few days ago my check engine light came on had it tested and came back with p0014- camshaft sensors. Replaced both sensors, now my check engine light is back on and it is showing 2 new codes p0340 and p0341- camshaft sensors. Is there a specific brand of sensor I should use or a certain way they need to be installed? I’m new to working on cars so any help is appreciated!

When you delete the codes, I'll assume they come back, correct? What brand did you buy? Many parts are made poorly or incorrectly these days in Mexico or the Asian area of the world in my experience.

When I took it in this morning to have the codes checked at oriellys they said the cannot erase codes. I replaced the old ones with Standard brand sensors.

The codes CAN be erased, but by a better OBD II scan tool than they have. My Innova would and can erase all codes.
