Default Camshaft position sensor

Hello-
I have a 2005 cavalier with 2.2 liter Ecotec. CEL came on, and its throwing code PO340 Camshaft position sensor. I erased the code, and during next trip with car, the check engine light came back with same code. Called a few auto parts stores and they say the 2005 either doesn't have this sensor, or it's internal and not serviceable. Any suggestions?? The car starts, idles, accelerates, and runs normally. Thanks
