Default 08 Malibu camshaft position code/ service light on

My service engine light is on and the code indicates a bad camshaft position sensor. I have replaced the sensor and reset the code but the code comes back. Any suggestions or any body had this issue?

2.4l, the sensor I replaced was on the front of the block, easy access.

if the code was p0010... that is for an intake camshaft position actuator solenoid

p0013 is for the exhaust camshaft position actuator.

These sit on the passenger side, top of the valve cover near the coils.

actuators move the camshaft...totally different that a camshaft position sensor.
