Hello, I have a 2008, Avalanche 4x4, 5.3 engine. 60k+ heard tapping took to dealer warranty replaced Lifter-Cam- Oil pump. 106k exact same issue- except had to pay around half the cost. Today, 125k truck is at the same dealer with the same problem. AGAIN I am having to prove oil changes etc. They are talking to chevrolet??? I am affraid of what to expect. I think I should get a motor! Has any had these issues, know the process and expected result. Anyone with chevy give a darn?
