Default 2008 Chevy Avalanche LTZ passenger side tail light gremlin

Ive posted on some other threads but figured I would make mine more specific. This has been going on for 2 years.

My truck is currently at the GM dealer as I have tried all I could to figure this out. My son is leaving for college tomorrow and I do not want him to get a ticket for no tail light. The bulbs are fine. When I removed and unplugged tail tight to plug in on the drivers side it works.....Wiggling the wires sometimes made it work at first but now that doesnt work. It just randomly works and doesnt work. The dealer just called me telling me something about a locking arm int he fuse box is not secure and that may be causing the problem....only at a cost of $560 lol.....

I read on pre07 models there was a junction box back there but I never could spot it on mine...is this true on the 07+?

anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks
