My 08 z71 is making a clunking/ grinding noise from front end when turning on pavement in 4h or 4l. Is this common? It sounds like front shafts... I also have 8 inch suspension lift with 35's, would this make a difference? 30k miles.

 

Actually I don't think 4h or 4l is recommended on pavement at. Possibly if in winter conditions such as ice or snow.

 

I thought maybe the tires grabbing on the pavement may cause this because it doesnt do it in the grass.
