Default 2010 GMC Sierra radio issues

two days ago my son left the lights on my truck. The battery was not completely dead but when I got it cranked the radio would not work. The clock was still working correctly and had the correct time. All lights on the radio are on just wont power up. I checked the fuse under the hood and it does not display any error messages. I need help!

Well this morning I got in my truck and pushed the button and it worked like it should. Any ideas on what is going on?

when batteries slowly die....modules don't shut down properly. Next time this happens try a positive battery disconnect....disconnect the neg bat cable then the positive..touch the cables together....leave everything disconnected for 1 min. make sure the battery is charged up....charge it overnight if required.... connect pos cable then neg cable

Thank you, I was working on the side of the road and didn’t have the luxury of charging had to boost it. But I will keep this in mind for the future.
