Default 2020 Silverado 4.3 coolant leak

So, i just purchased a new 2020 silverado 4.3 exactly a week ago today, well i noticed yesterday that the temperature while i was driving it, was pushing 240 degrees, which i thought seemed kind of odd. Well i noticed it again today, and it looks like there is something leaking from the front passenger side of the radiator. There was a small area that was wet there no sooner than i parked and got out i noticed it. It only has anout 185 miles on it, and my driving style is very mild. I drive anout 3 miles to work each way, and the truck sets most of the other times. I just feel that 240 defrees is running a little bit hot, considering most vehicles ive ever owned run around 210 degrees all the time.

Now i tried to smell the wetspot that was under that side, it doesnt smell like antifreeze, but it doesnt really smell like water either. And there is some noticable liquid on the side of the radiator on that side. Has anyone else encountered this issue, or am i alone

Are you losing antifreeze? Regardless you should take it back to the dealer and have them look into the 240 degree problem.

The wet spot could just be normal condensation off the A/C.

240 does seem too hot though.

i have an appointment set for monday at 10 a.m. monday. The air conditiner condenser is back toward the firewall, and this is coming from the main front, directly underneath the passenger side front clip. I looked down and can see that side of the radiator has water/antifreeze (unsure because i cant get to it, looked at it with a flashlight) but its dripping, not a huge spot overnight but a small one. I will try and snap a picture of it in the morning after it has set all night. Also i checked the overflow resivor and it doesnt look like its filled to the cold mark. Im unsire if it was low from the factory, or if it has just lost that much.

yea, its at the dealership waiting on for an radiator. It was leaking from the factory, so they gave me a service rental from the dealership, i called yesterday and she said that the part still wasnt in yet. I guess where the plants have been closed its gottwn everything behind or something i dunno for sure. But here is a couple
pics, ones from underneath and yoy
cam see the antifreeze on the bottom of the frame.

Gotnit back after about three weeks, seems to be running perfect now, so lets hope thay on was just bad from the manufacturer, and everything else will be good. Had to add a little pizzaz to the tailgate on it, had to break up that white some.
