Default 2V and 4v difference (which one I have?)

New to the forum. lOTS OF KNOWLEDGE packed in one site! awesome.

I have a 1983 GMC (yeah, I know its a chevy site, we're family right?) 305 engine, 8cyl, model is C1500

How can I tell if the truck is a 2v or 4v? I want to buy the Edelbrock Pro-Flo2 fuel injection system for the engine but there are two different versions for 1986 and prior engines... the 2v and 4v

hope you all can help....I'm sure someone will make a comment to get a 350 or something...hope there is a answer with the comment though.
