I have 77 Impala with a 305 that I'm building for a daily driver, and am looking into converting it over to a throttle body injection. I have access to early 90's C1500 with a bad motor (neighbor kid ran it out of water). will I have issues using the throttle body and computer from the pickup? My main concern is transmission. Will I have problems if none of the transmission connections are plugged into anything? It's a numbers matching car and I would like to keep it that way. Also, will I have problems if I use a computer from a 350 on a 305?
