Hey yall, new here. Im a diesel guy and do not know too much about the 350s. Just put it in a 1980 cj7 and now im at the point of trying to get it timed and am having issues with getting it to idle. Currently vaccuum adv is disconnected. When it turns over it dies immediately unless im on the throttle. Not to mention the idle is very rough sounding. Im assuming it is a timing issue but then again i am not sure where to go from here. Am I a tooth off? Please and thank you all for taking the time to read this. Ps i know it looks like a wire grenade went off in my engine bay. Been re connecting the wires and moving stuff around. Still building.
