Planning on buying a 89 (1500) long wb 2 wheel drive from a buddy motor was rebuilt and has about 35000 on it another buddy has the 90 (1500) v6 short wb 4x4 might be a vortec not sure on that has a rod threw it..wondering if the motor would mount rt up would it be a drop and go what would need changed ..oh the v6 is a manual .. the 89 is a great running truck sounds awesome has duel flow masters on it but needs whole new interior talking all!! And cab corners windshield door locks drivers door struts and some bondo work on the bed.. would it be easier to use the v6 for parts most would switchover would it not ? Frame wise trim fenders struts interior? ?
