Default 383 build

Hi guys this my first post on Chevrolet form, and probably most asked question.. Building a 383 stroker.. I currently have a motor out of a 92 z71 1500 chevy.. It's completely stripped down bare block. My goal is to have it bored .30 over and built up to put in my 48 jeep ******.. I found a complete kit on northern auto parts but says stops at 1986.. Assuming for carbonation, witch I'm switching to. So my main question is just some helpful thoughts and recomendations. Thank you,

Frank

HA, your project sounds SO familiar !

I dropped a 324ci and Hydro out of a 56 Olds (if I remember correctly) into a 1949 Willis Overland Station Wagon back in the middle 60's. I had fairly quite pipes, 3/4 Isky Cam, three Duce's on it, and it was a TOTAL sleeper after I put a couple extra Leaves in the Front Spring. Really surprised a lot of Chevy V8 owners on Quarter Mile scoots.

Main problem was keeping Spider Gears in the Rear End

Good Luck with your project !
