I'am trying to set the ignition timing on a rebuilt 1985 454 in a class "A" motorhome. It has two timing degree plates on the timing gear cover. The original one about 2 O'clock when looking at the front of the engine , and one at about 5 O'clock. There is no way to set the timing using the stock timing plate at 2 O'clock. My Question is ; witch spark plug wire do I use when using the timing plate at the 5 O'clock position ? Thank You Al Cassell

OK I keep looking on line , for how to set the ignition timing on a class C motorhome. And I found it on Good Sam Club Open Roads Forum . When you set the timing from the bottom you use # 5 plug wire. Hope that helps. Al
