Hey guys, I am new here and looking for anyone who might have a 4L60E service/overhaul manual on their computer. I lost second and overdrive and I almost think it is electric as opposed to mechanical.

In second gear the band is applied, realeased in third gear, but then comes back on in 4th gear.
1st gear both shift solonoids are on, so if you got 1st gear you most likely have both shift solonoids working.
If you break your sun shell you will have 1st gear and 3rd gear, but you will lose reverse, 2nd and 4th
I got a manual let me know if you need me to pull any info out of it.
