I'm considering at buying a 91 chevy truck z71. It has a 350 and a 700r4 trans. I want to rebuild these and install in a 84 buick. now for the questions

the 350 is throttle body injected. how do I change this over to a carb. Not sure which manifold will fit properly.

the 700r4 what is needed to make it work. Some have told me you need the computer from the truck to make it work. Is this true. If so how had to add the computer to the car from the truck.

If I keep the throttle bodi injection what would I have to add to the car in order for it to work right?

to switch over to carb just get an edelbrock performer manifold, edelbrock 600cfm carb (model 1406) and an hei distributor. as for the tranny, yep its electronically controlled so youd be best off to either get a th350 or a standalone computer for the 700r4
