I know this is a chevy forum. All my vehicles are chevy but we have this van I told my girlfriend not to buy because I refer them as throw away cars.
well we ended up with it and the test drive was fine but after 30 miles of use it started clanking and limping.
A retired mechanic had told me the lines have been crossed and cause it to over heat and he can small the burn in the fluid.
I never knew this could be a problem but he said on this dodge caravans switching the lines can be a problem.
sometimes it clanks when driving and sometimes it doesnt.
is this a serious problem or can it easily be fixed? maybe its the torque converter or the starter not dis-in-gauging. which are other options mechanics have told me.
whats your opinion?
