Rebuild my first 4l60e(1993), new wiring and electronics....also new convertor...i only have reverse no forward gear no matter where you put the shifter. If you put it in D1 and rev the engine you can feel it trying to go in reverse. If i unplug the trans connector and put it in D4 it wants to go but doesnt.....any help

 

silly question but is the fluid level ok? and what was the old trans doing?

 

The orginal one i pull out was full of water and transmission fluid mix(no movement in any gear)...so i got a 4l60e from a 93 suburban and built that instead....i put 11 quarts in it dex 3...

 

Did you replace the leaking radiator?

 

Yes....

 

I fix it case close.

 

What was the fix please?

 

I forgot to install the front sun gear.
