Default 93 k1500 starts but dies immediately

I have 93 K1500 5.7 with 189,000 miles. It starts fine but dies immediately. It starts right back up, but dies again. After I go through this about 20 times or so, the thing starts and runs fine. It will start back and runa if you shut it off as long as it's still warm. I replaced the fuel pump, pump relay, fuel filter, and plugs. Any ideas???

It runs for a second or two and then dies just like it would if you turned the key off.

try checking out the ignition system. coil, ign.module, cap, rotor. things like that. i think maybe even autozone can check ur ignition module for free.

John is right.. I had a problem somewhat like yours.. ended up being the ignition modual. Advanced Auto parts tested it and said it was bad. Ignition can be a p.i.t.a. Also.. there are 2 grounds that attach on and near the goose neck.. check those grounds as I hear they can cause all sorts of strang problems.
