I've got a 94 Olds Cutlass Supreme w/3.1 engine and occasionally hesitates on takeoff. Just put a fuel pump and filter on it along with a pump relay. Runs good down the road but taking off at a light it "gasps" before going... Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Is there any rebuild to fuel injection?

 

Look for leaks first. Vacuum, air intake, etc. If air bypasses your air flow sensor it will confuse the injection system. The air flow sensor can also be dirty or malfunctioning.

Check your air filter and intake tubes for blockages.

Throttle body cleaner may help.

A less likely candidate is an O2 sensor.
