95 Tahoe Firing Order
Hey all. I recently acquired a 95 Tahoe from my pops. It is not starting.
When I first got my hands on it, I tested to see if it was getting fuel. All is well there.
Anyway, I went to the spark side and when I tried to get into the distributor the crappy little screws were all stripped and rusted in there. I had to take a little sledge and crack the distributor top off to proceed. In doing so I knocked off the rotor cap thing on the inside. I put a new distributor in, but it is not in the right spot.
Can someone tell me how to start from scratch in resetting engine down to the correct firing sequence position?
Do I remove the #1 spark plug and bring the piston to TDC? Then when that is in the right spot, set the distributor rotor arm in the correct spot? Something like that?
