Hello everyone. New to the group. Thanks for the ad. My question is what’s the best and only plug to install in my daughters 96 s10? I’d like to have the cheapest I can use without sacrificing performance and mileage. O’Reillys offfers 18 different versions ranging from $3 to $18 and they all say they’ll work.
The picture shows what is in it now. I can’t verify if these are original or not. We bought the truck from the original owner and it has 218,000 miles on it. He claimed he had never changed the plugs.

Reason: Motor size
I'm sure they all work. Some will just last longer than others. Usually the best value is to go with a middle-of-road priced item from a reputable brand. You can't go wrong with the OEM AC Delcos

I agree. I'd suggest whomever you get them from, open the boxes, make sure they are not used. I ran into this at an autozone buying plugs for my (then) 02 Taurus. Got home plugs where used, someone returned their old plugs back for a credit (ripoff autozone). I went there this three times, last time at the counter I had the parts guy open them up, and yep, used plugs. Just saying check your merchandise before you leave the store.
