I bought my 12 Impala with an aftermarket OnStar system. I was told the unit was in the trunk. Not in the trunk. Checked it all over. I need to replace the back up battery in the unit.

Someone give me an idea where to look?

There are several threads on that subject, click on the Search bar for the forum and put in OnStar backup battery

Your 2011 HHR should come standard with the OnStar hardware already installed. To activate your system, simply press the OnStar button inside the vehicle and tell the activation specialist that you wish to activate your subscription.
