I was in a rear end collision a few weeks ago. I was at a full stop and a woman hit me going 45 miles per hour. I then hit an older model vehicle with my front end. My air bags did not eploy. Should my airbags have deployed in this situation.

 

what vehicle do you have. prior to the collision...was the airbag light coming on at each startup and then going off after 7 seconds.

 

I have a 2008 chevy tahoe maybe if they deployed i wouldnt of got hurt...

 

were there any faults in the system before the accident?
they are not designed to go off from a rear collision. if the force of the frontal impact wasn't hard enough trigger the front impact sensors and safeing sensor they won't deploy.
