Default Arp head bolts

Made a mistake yesterday. Got ahead of myself and assembled the first head on my 355. Using arp head bolts, didn’t pay attention to the position of the washers. After torquing I realized I didn’t ensure the washers were installed correctly. I pulled one bolt at a time to check and sure enough 15 of the 17 were upside down. I removed one at a time, checked/corrected washer placement, and reinstalled/torqued as I went until I had completed all 17. Is this ok or do I just need to remove the head, install a new head gasket, and install mew bolts?
