Audio wiring help!
i have a 2004 chevy avalanche, and im trying to find the audio switches so i can plug my speaker/amp/subwoofer into it. It only has two wires out of the back, and i bought it off someone and didnt receive an instruction manual. I'd like to install this and put it under the back seat, but i dont know how to hook it up! can someone help?
Hi Brandino13,
Welcome to the Chevy Forums.
In 2002 GM started installing ignition switches in their trucks without "accessory" stations.
What this means in English to you is that you need a Dataport adapter to install an aftermarket audio system.(@100$, installed.) Make sure they turn the door chime way down, or off. Otherwise, you'll find your new not- so- optional door chimes just a little loud.
