Hi Brandino13,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

In 2002 GM started installing ignition switches in their trucks without "accessory" stations.

What this means in English to you is that you need a Dataport adapter to install an aftermarket audio system.(@100$, installed.) Make sure they turn the door chime way down, or off. Otherwise, you'll find your new not- so- optional door chimes just a little loud.
