B0012-0E B0013-0E airbag codes ...wont clear fix
Hello chevy community i had this problem but it didnt start off with these codes i first had B0012-04 which is an open circuit i found it was my airbag coil...i replaced it then cleared the srs codes and received the B0012-0E and boo13-0E which is low resistance for the one code and resistance too high for the other and these were thrown together at times and sometimes one at a time so i figured lose connection at the coil which is correct the 4 wire plug that plugs into the coil wasnt getting a good connection i took a small pin / needle and cleaned the contacts then on top of the connector you can see the copper contacts i slightly bent these down to make the connection tighter ( if you do this DONT bend them too much or you will be replacing the connector) and after i reconnected this connector i reconnected my battery as i had it disconnected ...i connected my scanner and turned on the key and bam no codes at all ...this fix worked for me and hopefully it may help some of you as this is a common problem....
