[] I HAVE A 99 MALIBU LS AND HERE IS THE PROBLEM, WHEN I STARTS UP THE BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON AND THE POWER WINDOWS, AC AND TEMP GAUGE DO NOT FUNCTION UNTIL A RANDOM 1 TO 5 MIN WAIT TIME....THE BATTERY IS CORRECT SIZE AND 4 MONTHS OLD AND THE ALTERNATOR ALSO TEST OK...SO I'M THINKING THE AIR FLOW SENSOR MIGHT BE INVOLVED BUT I DON'T KNOW , CAN ANYONE HELP!!!?

 

Many times a battery cable which has corroded over the years will take extra juice to burn it's way through the dirty wire. At @25$ for a pair of new cables, it's worth the effort. A vehicle that age probably needs new ones, and it's cheap insurance from getting stuck in your driveway on a cold winter morning.
