Picked up some felpro's to assemble my 454 .030 over , the bores are not round and I cant figure out why ? I see copper head gaskets come with round bores ? maybe someone has a part number for round felpros ?

double check your number's call a tech line for felpro to beshure but it may be slightly elongated to seal on the cylinder head better with the over bore to better seal thecombustion chamber's beter .

 

I built my 454 .030 over with fel-pro gaskets adn i know what you are talking about. Not sure why they are like that but they are lol. Mine worked great!

 

may i ask what head gaskets you are using? just recently picked up a k10 with a 454 .030 over and blew a headgasket and cant find em on summit or jegs for a 4.280 cylinder bore that arent mopar
