Best I have ran for road life and great mudding is the BFG M/T, I haven't tried the new Wranglers, but they are supposed to get great road life and great mudding, they seem pricey though. I like the new Wrangler M/T looks. I run Wrangler A/Ts on the Suburban and get about 40,000 miles. I get 40,000 to 50,000 on the BFG M/Ts on a Bronco

I love the Nitto looks, if you get those let me know how they do.

Stay away from Interco for road life.

Ran across another very tried and true Tread Pattern at...
Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels
Thompson's are pricey, but, very good quality.

that is a very nice tread pattern for them

TMan,

I just want to add a comment here, in that I don't think that a lot of guys give the Mud/Snows a fair shake when it comes to mileage.

One should expect to get longer use from a P, LT or AT type, but when you start separating the bars on the Tread to dig into the mud/snow, it invariably causes a focus of pressure on that (lesser road contact) Tread.

I've always used/had a second set of rims, and only use my mud/snow when it was actually muddy or on snow, and under those conditions, they last as long as just about anything else.

So, what I'm saying is that take that "low mileage" with a grain of salt approach.

I am looking for all terrain tires for my 2003 silverado 2500HD. I am on a budget so I need something that will give me that meaty look without breaking the bank. Any help is appreciated.

Just take a look on the right side of this Page.
There are several good low cost Tire Vendors listed.
You can visit their sites, even talk to them on the phone if it's listed.
They can tell you quickly about what's on sale, and available.

Good luck
