Hello everybody

Two weeks ago I purchased my first american car: a '87 Caprice. At the moment the car is on the board of a container ship, on the way to Europe. I just started to gather related infos and parts.
In the first round I need mostly the tipical parts to replace. You know: filters, gaskets, rubber parts (bushings, etc), water pump, belts, hoses, brake parts, timing chain, etc...

Please give me advise in two points:

- Which online (!) stores are the best in USA? (prices and assortment)

- I'm familiar with the european and japanese aftermarket companies and brands (what is more I worked for them over 10 years :-) But I don't know anything about the american ones. Which brands are trustworthy, reliable, and which ones are to keep away?
