bringing truck up from the dead!
My son got a 1995 1500 W/T 6 cylinder 4x4 single cab. it has been sitting since 2006 and a rat did toture to it. we have rewired 90% of the truck and it is running now! sounds great.
Problem 1: after 3 days of starting and turning off the engine the engine will not turn off with the key. I have turned it off unhooking the positive battery cable. what might I check.
Problem 2: it is a standard. and it was moving fine, seemed like the clutch did have to be released quite a ways before it would engage the transmission. now it will not engage it at all. I have made sure the clutch resivior was full and clean. any suggestions?

Welcome to the Forum,
1: Replace Ign Switch
2: Clutch Petal to MCyl linkage adjusted to tight, or
crud behind MCyl piston, not letting it back up far enough to release pressure on system.
PS:
I'm assuming you do have some clearance between the Slave Adj Rod and the Clutch Fork ?
