Default A.c. compressor runs at all times
I have a 98 silverado extended cab my a.c. compressor runs all the time I changed out my hvac control an nothing has fixed the issue. Any help would be aappreciated thanks

Disconnect the power to the compressor and see if it still runs. If it still does run then the clutch is bad. If it stops then it is a short somewhere in the wiring.

When I unplug power to the compressor compressor doesn't run. I even tried swapping relays didn't work. The system is low on refrigerant because it doesn't cook at all.
