Default Can I disable the honk when I exit the car with fob?

Hi everyone!

I have a 2016 Chev Impala LTZ and when the car is running if I exit the vehicle and close the door with the fob on my pocket, it honks 3 times. Is there anyway to disable this function?

Thanks!

I am pretty sure you will change these settings with buttons on your steering wheel or side of your instrument panel and I am quite certain you will find instructions for passive arming settings in your owner's manual

The system is reminding you that the ENGINE is running, and you are leaving it that way.
"IF" you have already disabled the HORN on arming, and dis-arming the locking system,
You may NOT be able to do this. HOWEVER it may turn into chimes, instead of HORN,
"IF" your lucky. Happy Motoring
