Default Can/Lifter questions...

Greetings all,
I’m new here, and am searching/hoping for sound advice...
I recently purchased (through Summit)
parts to install some L98 aluminum heads on a ‘93 350...
Among the purchased parts were one of their flat tappet cam/lifter combinations...
After purchasing, I began to see all the videos on YouTube about cam and lifter failures. (Due to poor manufacturing, poor QC and so many other factors)...
Im leaning toward bailing on the flat tappet and just spending the money for a roller set up...
Any and all sound advice would be greatly appreciated...
(Including trusted manufacturers based on your personal experience)...

Buy the roller camshaft all the way, see if Texas speed has anything in stock for your vehicle. They make amazing products. Definitely make sure you check the camshaft measurements on every camshaft you buy, just because it’s from a professional company doesn’t mean it’s correct
