Cant fix vacuum leak, can you help me?

ive sprayed while running and located it to be in the rear of the carb next to the brake booster vacuum. I taped the threads to the brake booster line for better seal. still no luck
float was good, no fluid inside. Was straight so its never been adjusted til now but I put it back.
I have a theory that its the gasket between the bowl and the base plate.
But not sure yet.
