I have a 2019 Colorado Z71. After a few months of owning it the outer black flap on the gas tank fell off. Now it just sits in the space where the gas nozzle goes in. I have to constantly get my fingers in there to try and wedge it back behind the spring so dirt and water don't get in. I can't get it out without busting the housing off. Does anyone else have this problem?

 

Take it to the dealer for a warranty repair.

 

Yeap. When I bought my CJ-5 Jeep brand new, the fuel gauge did work right and I ran out of gas. Took it to the dealership. That's what a warranty is for.
