Default Cavity Wax vs. Undercoating, Where to use what

Just picked up a nearly rust free 2005 Suburban Z71 from Tennessee and happily rolled it back to my part of the rust belt in Western (lower) Michigan.
Rockers, door bottom folded weld seems, bumpers all look great. Just starting to surface rust on the frame and a few other spots.

I am going to get it undercoated before winter.
I can either A) Undercoat from rocker to rocker and the wheel wells, or B) coat everything from the windows down.

Neither one includes inside the rockers, so I am going to purchase Cavity Wax and snake the wand up through the weep holes and coat as much of the inside of those as I can.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Link to 3-4 products on Amazon. 3M is what the local shops use. Newer sprayer wand is much better than the old ones.

My third option is to just undercoat rocker to rocker, use Cavity Wax in the rockers, and use Cavity Wax in all the door bottoms.

chime in.

i have never used cavity wax

if its clean and dry on the frame, fender liners, brake lines, fuel lines(don't coat the connections),floor pan, box pan....i spray the black sound deader product that dries similar to rubberized rocker guard using a shutz gun.

I then use undercoating in the doors, hatch, hood using this

20 liter pail is about $90 and i use 1-2 liters on each car per year. the rust proofing plugs are cheap if you need to drill holes to apply in rockers. I also pull the rear tailights to access the inner fender liner as this spot is the first to rust.

Thanks Tech2.

Did you drill and spray the inside of your rockers?
How thick is the spray you use? Think it flowed down into the pinch weld enough to protect it from the inside?

i did not drill the rockers. the may be rubber plugs on yours that you can pull out to spray the rockers. check the bottom inner surface.
i bought amber coloured under coating that will drip and flow into the crevasses during hot summer weather. It consistency in the pail is like a kinda creamy
