chevy cavalier cd player stopped working
Good morning all I recently purchased a chevy cavalier for my wife and her cd player stopped working with it being a 2001 i was wondering is it eassy to change out the cd player and just go buy her another or should i go to a professional because it has a theft system on the car and i would hate to miss up something usually i am pretty good with audio connections but this is a newer car to me any suggestions would be appreciated.
it's not that hard to install an aftermarket radio. they have a lil module u can buy that plugs in between the factory connector and ur aftermarket radio to take care of the anti-theft. if at all possible i'd go with another factory radio find one at a salvage or something like that. only thing if u do that then u'll have to have it setup with a tech2 scan tool from a dealer or something.
