My Chevy cruze engine light came on and the fan started running constantly and loudly. It seems this is a common problem from everything I've read on the Internet. It goes into the dealer tomorrow ( not the one we bought from, will never go back there) and would like to know what to expect. I am over in miles for warranty.

2012 Cruze, same problem. Check engine light, fan is extremely loud and louder when I am stopped. Mechanic said this is a problem with the cruzes and not to worry about it, but it is embarrassing and I bought this car brand new in 2012. If there is a recall is it fixed at a dealership?

 

if the check engine light is on then theres an issue that needs checked into and yes if theres any recalls open the dealer should take care of them
