Is the failure electrical or mechanical? Have you checked the relay and wiring to the pump? Water or trash in the fuel? How does the filter look? If the filter is full of trash then the pump won't be able to operate correctly. A bit information about the failure is needed.

Hi Richard,
The failure is electrical. The pump fail after a month. No trash or water in the tank neither in the fuel line. The fuel filter was changed each time after the pump failure. All filters were clean. I did not check the relay or the wiring. By the way I do not have the wiring diagram. My Pickup was directly imported from the Canada to Switzerland a few years ago and this model is very exotic in my country :-)
It seems that the available pump model in Europe is not very reliable...
What about the fuel pressure regulator ? Does it have something to do with the failure ?
Thanks for looking on my Post.

Next time make sure to replace the pump with a Delco or Delphi brand pump even if you have to import it from the US. Do not go with the cheap after market pumps.
