Just keep your tires inflated properly. I don't know what RPM it will be at 75 MPH. Some states, like Nevada allow 80 MPH, but with gas prices being high, the lower you drive, the better your MPG will be.

If you have cruise control, I would use it, as you'll get the best gas mileage using it. I wish had it on my 98' Chevy K-1500, as I have a lead foot I have to control, but it's been a great Chevy pickup truck.

To properly answer your question, we’d need to know what transmission and differential is in your truck. RPM’s will vary depending on if the transmission is a 4 or 5 speed and the gear ratio in the rear diff.

Check the RPO sticker in the glove box to determine the options you have.

Those are the axle weight ratings - it’s the gear ratio that needs to be known.

The sticker you’re looking for will have a bunch of 3 digit codes on it.

The gear ratio codes will start with a G or H and the transmission code will start with M.
