Default Chevy Truck ran out of gas wont start now.

I need some help. My wife ran the 2002 Chevy Silverado out of gas. I put gas in it and it ran for about 20 seconds and then died. It has not started since. Is there anything I can do? Or do I just take it to the dealer?

Thanks
Scott

Could be the fuel pump is either plugged with debris or cooked from running it dry.

The fuel pump is cooled and lubricated by fuel, so there's a good chance it is now dead and needs to be replaced.
