Default Conflicting Bluetooth

I hope I'm posting this in the correct place. Anyway, I have a question or really just wondering how others utilize bluetooth, as I'm sure I'm not the only one with a similar setup...

So my truck has the factory Onstar bluetooth setup which works great. But I also have an aftermarket radio with bluetooth. So here is my dilemma - maybe its just specific to me. I want to try and utilize both bluetooth devices. I would like the aftermarket unit to do nothing else than act as a dial pad and display call information.

I know I could use one or the other, but I want to use Onstar bluetooth for voice dialing and answering calls, because I can use the factory microphone and if I were to use an aftermarket bluetooth setup, I could not utilize the hands free button on the steering wheel. I also have the dual zone HVAC, and I like how when on a call the fan speed will automatically slow down so you can hear the call better.

So I know the simple answer is to use one or the other, but has anybody had luck with using both? Thanks in advance!
