Default Coughs off the line

Hello all,

This is my first post since I just got a Chevy and it happens to have a problem. My father is at the age where he can't drive anymore so I was the recipient of his 1994 Caprice Classic Wagon. It's a neat car but there's a problem somewhere that I can't solve. The car starts fine, runs great when it's cold but as soon as it warms up it hesitates horribly from a stop. The car will still idle fine but you have to pretty much pump the peddle to keep it from dying. At higher RPM it will run better but it definatelly misses. Can anyone point me in a starting direction. The car only has about 38,000 miles on it, and that's not a misprint. So far I've added injector cleaner to the gas, run out any old gas and filled up with new gas, inspected the air filter (perfect) and changed 6 out of the 8 plugs (that's all I could get to and they looked good anyway) and none of this has seemed to help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Have you checked the fuel pump psi or the idle air control valve?

No. I haven't checked either one. Thank you for the suggestion!
