I have a 1995 chevy tahoe 4 door I just bought. My issue is it has an aftermarket deck that stays on when ground wire is disconnected & after a certain volume or note in a song the audio goes out. I have to either open one of the doors, open the ashtray compartment, play with the light switches, or turn the stereo off for the audio to go back on. Tryna get leads first or ideas before I tear up the truck to figure out if its a short & if so if its more likely to be inside one of the doors, behind the dash, or in the wiring under the carpet. Just not trying to take all seats, carpet, or dash off to figure it out.
