two days ago I went to start my car and the DIC displayed a theft warning hood open message. It took me a few times to clear it after I double checked that the hood was definitely closed. Now every time I start my car, the hood open warning message appears and I have to clear it. It apparently affects my auto start as well as it won't start from my key fob from outside my car. How do I clean or inspect the hood latch sensor?
